Same story with Tate and Lyle who have massive yards empty that used to hold sugar cane. They used have ships queueing up to deliver to them until the EU blocked trade with the likes of Africa and protected EU Beet growers.

This is a great part of the EU, protection of EU food producers. That would include UK food producers. Post brexit though you can have your way and undercut your local food industry and put local industry out of business. Cheaper food for you and who cares what jobs are lost.

Food production is different to most industries, Countries need to be able to produce food, it's why most countries protect their local business. Look at WTO and the tariffs on food, this can be up to a 40% tariff. You may not agree but the UK will prob do just the same considering it's planning on adopting WTO post brexit, that will probably sink Tate and Lyle for good.

Reading all of that link it is a strong case for remain.

That's why Beelzebub posted it.  He wouldn't post anything that's for Brexit.
Those princes who have done great things have held good faith of little account, and have known how to craftily circumvent the intellect of men.  Niccolò Machiavelli.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Remember when leavers banged on about there being less red tape post-Brexit? Now they are celebrating more.

Brexit consultants look like they're doing well.

At last! A business nearly destroyed by the UK's EU membership preparing to boom!
