Merkel is gone

Angela Merkel, the grand architect behind our vote to leave the dreaded EU, has now been removed from her post as chancellor of Germany. Without her the EU is basically toast as the French-German Alliance won't hold under increased pressure from Global Britain and the US (remember those submarines which will soon be ready).

Then, at last, Brexit will be vindicated and our journey towards the sunlit uplands will continue.

Hold the celebrations HB . Merkel will remain Chancellor until a new coalition government has been formed which in Germany could take over a year depending on the result and how good the parties involved are at Horse trading  .

Without strong leaders the EU will indeed be toast in its current form . Nation states will again call the tune and the EU will return to being a trade association without all the political addon's of recent years .
