Interesting. I have an idea that 'build back better' was around when Boris Johnson became PM.

Building better is always a good idea, building back is necessary after the unforeseen covid tragedy and the totally foreseeable Brexit mess. It just seems an odd choice of phrase for a slogan when your party has been in charge for over 10 years.

Build back better . . . but from what?

A) The legacy of the preceding 10 years of Tory government?

B) The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic?

C) The mistake of leaving the EU?

I wonder if 'build back better' was thought up by Dominic Cummings before his downfall.

Boris is still trying to waffle around whether women have cervixes. Maybe Carrie could tell him, no wait, she is the wokery in the Tory party, so don't ask her.
At least we are not all looking for the "Rancour" in the Tory Party. It's quite clear who it is.

Boris delivered a great entertaining knockabout end of conference speech though, didn't he? Not sure how much real meat it had — or how much it needed — that's for the advisers, commentators and unravellers to decide.
Must say, it seemed hours shorter than Sir Kier's...
On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

BUILD BACK BETTER!

Boris has put a video of himself on Twitter drinking a pint of beer saying:
"Build back bitter"

Then another video of him eating fish and chips saying:
"Build back batter"

I wonder if he has lost the plot or whether he is just taking the phiss at the World Economic Forum's slogan which has been taken on by governments round the world.

I don't want our MPs to think it is OK to leave the EU and become Globalist government instead.
Well if you insist on putting your trust in the Westminster party don't be surprised when they are pulling the wool over one's eyes.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!
