If you can't deconstruct and argue my post without getting personal and therefore banned it says a lot about your posts. The reason is, that you can't just throw your little one line hand grenades in and bugger off. You have to come up with counter argument that explains your stand post.

The whole debacle comes down to personal choice.
We have more fish and shellfish than we know what to do with.
We have enough pork to sink a ship if we get our act together.
Yet people go on about food banks.
The poorer in society spend their money as a whole on expensive pre-made frozen foods and takeaways. Smurfy will use his well worn Tory Bad and you're a disgrace card but it is fact, the poorer you are, the worse your diet is.
Fresh veg, and pork/chicken are fairly inexpensive compared to take outs or ready meals. The population needs re-educating to the level most of our grandparents were at: frugal and able to budget, Maggie was bang on with that one.

Partly agree,people used to eat offal and cheaper cuts,they are now presented as nouvelle cuisine by fancy chefs at fancy prices.

A lot of that is not available so it's a little simplistic  to blame it solely on poor choices,also a lot of cheaper meats take longer to cook and with the price of fuel rising makes it so much more difficult.

Food banks are not always populated by the archetypal scrounger,so many do not fit that perception.

I never mentioned cheaper cuts, the regular cuts are still way cheaper than ready meals or take outs.
