One of the more measured statements made on question time by the remain camp leadership, and I have to say I respected whoever it was for the way he said it, without the slightest jingoism, was that it was entirely possible wages in a post brexit Britain may rise significantly, but you might not like who the beneficiaries are.....

A sentiment common to both remain and leave camps is that if anyone gets a wage rise someone else will whinge and say that he is being ripped off.
