Surprised you ever went, really. It's 15 miles for you to the Coinage Hall and that's well outside your local area.
We know you like to go no further than the village walls to spend your money. Shop local!
Do you have any mentions in the Pandora Papers, Papasmurf?

I've got a motorbike, I love to go out for a spin, and you can't beat a bit of Tripe and Trotters.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

I stopped drinking at Wetherspoons because of the disgusting way the staff are treated and their lack of training making it difficult to them to get a job at other hospitality venues.

Who are these imbeciles that think that is in any way sustainable? Well we know the location of one at least 😉.

That's an easy question to answer

The entire Labour Front Bench Now, Then and at any time there has been a Labour front bench on either side of the house

Some may think that ridiculous rhetoric and hyperbole.

To them, I commend Dawn Primarolo's eventual (and i say eventual because she was so fucking thick that for six months she failed to follow Parliamentary rules demanding she provide one) publication of her Regulatory Impact Assessment for the 1999 Welfare Reform Act.

Pay particular attention to its reference to what Companies shall meet the cost of, and how Marcus Rashford will avoid all of it
<t>In matters of taxation, Lord Clyde\'s summing up in the 1929 case Inland Revenue v Ayrshire Pullman Services is worth a glance.</t>

Did you read the link?

:D

So we have some anonymous author talking about unfounded allegations regarding wetherspoons , and calling for the general public to boycott the pub chain , and even the author says this is being ignored by the public , and in hindsight might not be the best way of him showing displeasure as it will ultimately effect the staff he is claiming to be offended on behalf of?

Tim martins sole problem seems to be he is a good employer who happened to support brexit , and because of it , the socialist workers of cornwall are upset with him.

Must try a bit harder pappy. :D

It's run by spotty adolescents Thomas. Wetherspoons employs 43,000 people, and at for instance an average of £500 per month that's over £20 million a month in wages whilst every pub was closed.
Who are these imbeciles that think that is in any way sustainable? Well we know the location of one at least 😉.

He was merely saying if the government can't sort out furlough payments fast enough it would be prudent to have a look, not on your bike.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

You stopped drinking real ale cause Tim Martin suggested his staff get additional jobs to ease their financial position? You're a bigger crackpot than I thought.

Nick it is such widespread public knowledge that no evidence is necessary.
A Boycott of Wetherspoons pubs was suggested because of it.
I stopped going to Wetherspoons because of the terrible way staff are treated, the poor training of staff, (only one appeared to be able change an empty barrel with a full one.) The lack of cleaning in front of the bar so bad the soles of my shoes stuck to the floor.
I ceased membership of CAMRA because of Wetherpoons.

Is that the best you can do? A website run by teenagers?  What a joke.

These calls stemmed from Wetherspoons boss Tim Martin's decision to tell staff to take jobs in supermarkets to help with their income.

/\ /\ complete lies, he didn't TELL his staff anything, he made a suggestion, the full quote being below. Sounds like an awful bloke...Not

"If I'm honest, I could say you can get the furlough payments and stay at home. If you're offered a job at a supermarket, many of you will want to do that. If you think it's a good idea, do it.

"I can completely understand it. If you've worked for us before I promise we will give you first preference if you want to come back.

"I completely understand if you don't want to wait around for us to reopen but deeply appreciate your work."

Not at all, only pro Wetherspoons propaganda had been referenced. Wetherspoons treats it's staff in a disgusting way.

i have given you infrmation regarding wetherspoons from three different sources ranging over many years shwoing them to be a good employer.

You on the other hand made unfounded allegations about wetherpsoons , and when asked to produce evidence , you failed to do so , posting a link to the bbc where tim martin was offeering his employess the chance to work at the supermarkets during lockdown as the pubs looks to be remaining closed for some time.

As ever if that is the best you can come up with , its no wonder you are a figure of ridicule on this forum.

Unlike you , whatever tim martins alleged failings , he doesnt delight in tory politicans being stabbed to death .

The fact that Tim Martin told his staff they could take employment elsewhere was as a result of the Government stating people would not lose their Furlough if they took additional employment during the pandemic.

thats pappy for you nick.....a stranger to the truth as we know.

Whatever the pros and cons of tim martin , and his political views that seem to upset certain people like pappy , i cant see a thing that insinuates  , in  the article pappy quoted regarding the allegation wetherspoons is a "rogue " employer.

The stats i posted speak for themselves.

Pappy talks bollocks as we know , and all because i said less than 24 % of the uk workforce bother with union membership , he tried to correlate that with allegations of a rise in "rogue " employers.

Then offered wetherspoons up as one single exmaple of these hotbeds of nasty rogue employers ,an organisation that has won awards for employment for years according to the stats.

Proof yet again if anything is needed pappy never reads links or engages brain before posting.

JD Wetherspoon has been named one of the Top Employers United Kingdom 2015.

even the guardian was praising them in this article from 2014 . I fink you are pulling our legs pappy , and just dont like to admit wetherspoons are a good employer.

you just dont like tim martin do you? No need to rubbish his employee friendly business because of it pappy.

This is the eleventh year in succession that the pub chain, which employs around 29,000 staff across more than 900 pubs and at its head office, has been named as a Top Employer.
