Really? Does that go for the Scots and Welsh too?

And if you think most of the English politicians in Westminster know much more than feck all about our life and culture you are clearly deluded. They are paid a salary that places them in the top 5% of earners, with generous expenses on top, yet half of them claim it is a struggle to live on it which is why they need second jobs.

Do me a fecking favour. What the feck do these peple know about the lives of most of us who are just about managing? Theu couldn't possibly be more detached from the way of life of the common people.
Steve you haven't clocked yet he's here on the wind up?

Does he believe in brexit? I doubt it.

We are not all in the same boat. We are in the same storm. Some of us have yachts. Some of us have canoes. Some of us are drowning.

Absolutely. Can you do something about the welsh ones I have to suffer ?
never mind hallowed john. They do say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit , unfortunately hallowed has been having a bad time politically speaking these past 5 years or more.

Isnt democracy a really difficult concept for certain people?

If Lord Frost triggers article 16, the EU will probably dissolve in a fortnight.
It is more likely Britain would be in even deeper poo than it already is within days.

No, why would I. Look at it this way, if the UK shows that outside the EU life is so much better then we'll all do it. Wouldn't that be great, the UK being the guinea pig and if it works out well then we can all benefit.  I don't have a leave or stay position, if the leave side can honestly point to the benefits I will be more than happy to take that on board, but honestly I haven't seen it and no-body on here has pointed them out. I can see the drawbacks, maybe with time things will change.  Ireland sells into the UK, if the UK is hit financially then that will affect Ireland, why would I wish for that ?

More bollocks from Remonia.

What you don't seem to get is that we British have made our choice long ago. We want to live in nation states, governed by ENGLISH politicians who understand our way of life and our culture.

As forum member DeppityDawg told you, the EU is a bloc in economic decline. The UK is once more poised to outperform the economy of Germany. The UK is headed for a brighter future as we march, shoulder by shoulder with Sheepy and his populists, towards the sunlit uplands we have been promised.
Unlike the Micks, we British have a stiff upper lip and there's nothing in the EU that can't be sourced cheaper and better from elsewhere. What's needed now is a clean break and the complete abolishment of the European Court of Justice from all laws and legislatures on these brave islands.

If Lord Frost triggers article 16, the EU will probably dissolve in a fortnight.

Agh more of your lies, make up a position that I want the UK back in and then argue that. Stawman personified.
I ask you again , in the politest possible terms , what exactly are you doing on this forum then?

You claim to be irish , yet do not talk one bit in the slightest about irish politics , and only when i push you , may briefly mention the odd thing.

99.9% of your posts are solely regarding brexit and brexit related economic issues , again ,  strangely completely and utterly by and large uk centric not irish centric.

You rarely is ever talk about any other single political topic , yet constantly refute you have a remain agenda.::)

Clearly anyone reading the puerile rubbish that passes as one of your posts can see you are a deranged individual who cannot accept brexit in any way shape or form.

Let it go mate , and move on with your life. Obsessive compulsive stalking of forum members over "brexit " half a decade ago now really does show the fragile state of your mental health.

Not everyone, Cromwell called BS that someone claimed that the UK wasn't leaving the SM, so I showed him.The remain side did say you would leave the SM, the leave side that was ridiculous, the UK held all the cards, the EU needed the UK so bad and the UK would stay in or have free access to the SM.
This is horseshit , and you know it.

Many people said many different things , some lied on both sides , some were disingenuous , but the vast majority understood that the uk was leaving the single market , but hoped the uk could cherry pick access to it.

Again , all you do on this forum each and every day is re rake over the coals of a referendum and campaign from 5 years ago and counting . Why? You are achieveing nothing except massaging your own fragile ego.

Its over , you lost the referendum and need to move on instead of petulantly crying non stop about people allegedly being lied to.
Quote
I do get that they wanted out, you don't speak for the millions that voted leave
Neither do you. I voted remain in 2016 , and clearly i understand why the english voted leave far far better than you.

All you can do is try and tar people as idiots who were taken in by lies , when quite clearly the english largely had no interest in staying part of the eu for many many different reasons we have discussed ad nauseum.

Your arrogance and fragile ego blinds you to the truth.
Quote
maybe a lot of poor sods believed the leave lies,
So you keep insinuating , but can't face the fact even if we give you the benefit of a large piece of doubt , and im being generous here , and that in a one off situation of a referendum , all us "idiots plebs" didnt know what we were voting for , and those who voted leave belived lies ( of course remain didint lie either did they?:D) you completely ignore the fact you had a further two uk general elections in 17 and 19 to overturn the referendum result , never mind the result of the 2019 euro elections in the uk , and brexiters won each and every single vote.

I think even the most ardent remainer had by GE2019 understod the uk  , largely the english electorate , wanted out the EU no matter what.

So your puerile excuse and insinuation that had leave no lied they would never have won doesnt wash one little bit. As i said gerry , it appears to be a defence mechanism of that arrogant but fragile ego of yours that can't accept reality.

Im not sure you are cut out for this democracy lark gerry , as you appear to be an extremely bad loser completely out of touch with public opinion.

Maybe his problem is that you will never admit you either lied or misled or made a mistake. This is clear enough to me. Should we have a poll?
I don't know what the issue here is as I could not be bothered to read back several pages. But I will just use this opportunity to point out that genuine debaters are always willing to apologise when necessary. Those that never do and never ever ackowledge being wrong aboiut anything are the most dishonest of debaters and barely worth engaging with. When agenda is more important than debate and the free exchange of opinions and ideas, it is time to to perhaps let themn spout their lies or challenge them to expose what they are if you have the time or inclination

I asked where you took it and you said Brittany,
I never stated I took it. I still don't see your problem. That is a fruits de mer from Vivier Bretonne as it is presented when collected.

I never stated I took it in Brittany, you (wrongly perceived that,)  Just what is your problem?
I asked where you took it and you said Brittany, just down the road from our holiday home. Most people would have said they didn't take it, but it was at xyz. You were using as your own to prove a point that you could get seafood in France but not the U.K. And you talk about the Tories using dodgy deceptive tactics 😆
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

That looks conclusively like you said you took it in Brittany.
It was only when you realised I knew you hadn't taken it that you changed your tune.

Brittany, standard fruits de mer, €25 from the Viviers Bretons a short distance from our mobile home. Order before mid-day, collect the next morning. Ideal for a picnic, and make a soupe de poisson out of the shells, heads, carapace and other bits and pieces left over from the picnic. (It is supposed to be for one person but is enough for two):-
