I don't have a clue who it was, but lucky a Neo Liberal didn't get gutted with a fish knife.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

Blame the government they are the ones who have promised to sort it out at least a hundred times and never have.
RNLI crew 'blocked' from going to sea by people angry about migrants being rescued (msn.com)
When you get over your hand wringing and guilt trip that is.

The exact opposite of my own experience. The only people who ever pulled me over were English, the French never bothered.
On my trips Plymouth/Roscoff and return the lack of checks the British side have been worrying for years. On the other hand the Roscoff side the checks both on arrival and return have increased significantly over time with now around 30 Gendarmes/Doaniers sometime army, plus an increasing number of Malinois "general purpose," dogs. In Plymouth the customs "rummage" shed is rarely open.

The only time I have never been checked is the British side of the channel. The French side both arriving and leaving have involved very thorough checks and searches.

And as I said, the images I saw on the Freesat TV were not that scene. I put it up to show the distances involved.

The plod I saw on the tv were in the same uniform as the pointless cheese eating surrender monkey wankers who didn't bother checking any of my details last time I put my car on the Calais ferry

Well the question is why have they also been encouraged by a media who call them migrants when they don't even fit the criteria of a migrant. Why don't they live up to their responsibilities as well? I am not saying there is a lot of money flying around through charities etc, but it sure seems strange.

For that you'll have to ask the BBC if they will continue to call illegals who have no Intention of adhering to the law the same as those who throw themselves on the mercy of the state in accordance with the protocols, and those who actually legally apply to work here, when we take away the link fence fee and force them to find willing paying customers.

While I am at it, never let a good crisis go to waste, the Europhiles will call for greater integration with the EU and just one thing, isn't that how we got in this mess in the first place. ::)

I doubt it. 999 out of a thousand made it this year. The odds are not too bad. (99.9% survive)
The bad weather is here and I wouldn't want to do that trip in a RIB when the sea state is anything above a 3, it's 5 / 6 all the time at the moment. Overloaded and most likely no life jackets on, the outcome of the other evening was inevitable.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

So far about 25 bodies found and some survivors have been recovered but darkness is hampering the search. Will this persuade these guys not to chance it?

Harsh as it may seem but we need to make it clear if you arrive this way you will be deported immediately ignore the niceties and argue afterwards.

Priti Useless needs to go find, and then have displayed on those video advertising billboard things that have popped up everywhere, the footage I saw on one of Freesat's various news channels at about five thirty pm two days ago.

It showed an inflatable that could have quite easily accommodated a hundred being launched from a Calais beach. A crowd ran down and jumped in it, and off it went.

All the time this was happening, a bunch of French police, sitting in a car with flashing blue lights, not more than a hundred yards away, sat in their car and did f**k all. And they have GUNS.

They could have tried to detain those illegal immigrants as they tried to run to the boat,  Even if the illegals ran off, the boat could have been put out of service. But they sat in their little car with its blue lights going and did f**k all while about a hundred French problems became British ones.

It is clear to me who has the deaths of these people on their conscience, and he is neither citizen of or friend to the United Kingdom.
