With the other forum closing it only confirmed to me that we have a (mostly) good bunch of people, and despite the often differing views, most appreciate that this space is provided free for them. And that the Moderators do the job for jack. Thats it guys, for feck all. Nowt. In their own time. Except perhaps that they realise that without sensible moderation, places like this would descend into chaos. I don't suppose that we always got/get it right, but by and large moderation of the former site was good and I'm sure this one will be the same. I have the greatest respect for those who appreciate that, and also forgive that none of us are 100% faultless 100% of the time. Less respect for (and tiredness of) the one or two who appear to think they are, and that the forum can be used as a vehicle for their personal amusement.



Thanks BYT and Cromwell, it was my pleasure working with you both, and thanks also to our mysterious benefactor for providing this place. Right, I'm off back into obscurity.
