Ok, that's on the green line then. I've stood there.

So the girl in question has been given a suspended sentence for what amounts to aggravated wasting of police time, and that is that.

Interesting (to me) that the court is in the FAMAGUSTA district.

That's unside the (Islamic) Republic of Northern Cyprus.

No wonder she didn't get a fair trial on the matter of the gang rape.

The Famagusta District Court is now located at Paralimni, in the Republic of Cyprus, because the original building is inside that part of Famagusta which is in Northern Cyprus under Turkish control...
On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

Bit of a sad story all round isn't it . The free and easy sex scene of these med party towns has many victims who leave their brains at home for two weeks . I hope common sense prevails and they send the girl home , maybe next summer she will go to Blackpool with her parents

It struck me as odd from the first reporting stating 12 Israeli men,

Apparently they filmed the 'event'. She was with the first consentually when the others barged in, according to her lawyers her rejection was audible on the recording. Of course the evidence disappeared with the Israeli's.

I'm wondering if at least one of them has rich parents.

I'm not usually into conspiracies, but in my opinion, this case has BRIBE written all over it.

I am with you on this one Groo - it stinks to high heaven.

The bloke was rightly acquitted but had he been convicted would've faced a lengthy sentence,IMO she should have faced the sentence he got, sadly women do get raped but aren't always believed because of those who make it up.

I'm 100% with you on that Cromwell. Years ago my partner of the time got caught in what could have been a very sticky situation - a young girl who made advances towards him, nothing huge but enough that she could have made allegations against him had she been pissed off enough at his refusal. He thought nothing of it but got a fright when I spelled out how badly it could have gone.

I think any female who falsely accuses of rape should get an automatic custodial sentence and possibly also be held on a register (much the same as the sex offenders register). They are nothing but scum.

I doubt we will ever really know the whole truth about this.  :-x

And that's a fact,a relative who is a cop reckons at weekends there will be at least one false allegation,at a rape trial I was present at (and no I wasn't the defendant) the woman admitted under cross examination that she made it up because she would've been caught out by her partner playing away.
