Multiple well known biscuit brands are vegan, for example Hob Nobs, Jammie Dodgers, Oreos, and chocolate bourbons.
I'll be honest, I never noticed but I'm not a huge biscuit fan.

I did ask my eldest about this the day before yesterday as she's making some Christmas nibbles for some do her best mate is also coming to, and she's lactose intolerant. So yeah since asking on here I've been given an 'education'

I recall the artisan chocolate maker at Swanage to whom we have been a pretty regular customer for the past decade supplied my mate a Halloween chocolate jack o' lantern I asked him to bring back from the October Blues Festival. It didn't taste right at all, and on inspection I realised it was made not with cows milk, but oat milk.

I won't be knowingly buying any more of that.

The only other 'vegan' product in our home is a jar of marmite that displays a 'suitable for vegans' label. It tastes absolutely foul.

Can you have a vegan biscuit ? I mean, are any milk substitutes capable of working like milk in a baking environment ?

Let's just put a ban on history, then no one will ever know what has been done in the past. We can all live in ignorance and make all the same mistakes again.
Actually banning history might not be such a bad idea!  After all, we're all making the same mistakes again even when we do know history.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

The easiest thing to do in this dangerously escalating situation is to ban all gingerbread products other than plain, circular biscuits. Dancing

So on Arse book a rant is forming about the gingerbread non binary person this dodgy bakery is making

One commentator jumped in ranting Cor Blimey  it's a gingerbread MAN and always will be

To which I felt the need to reply

'Nope. on their back with their legs spread that wide, I beg to differ'

I haven't been banned

Yet...
I hope the bakery is taking the piss and not being serious with its discription of the biscuit .  The Gingerbread man has always been a man , or a boy as it comes from the fairy tale 'The gingerbread man '

The childless Lady bakes the gingerbread boy  .....you know the rest ,its written down , sung as a nursery rhyme ,its part of our heritage (or was it American )  , Anyway its a Man running not a girl on her back ;)

Allegedly almond milk, soy milk and oat milk, soy milk is by far the best for baking.
