The fact the police told a concerned neighbour who called regarding the smell coming from her flat and the housing trust they'd spoken to her and all was well when in fact she'd already been dead for around a year then if you think that ok then I'm at a loss.

The days of believing the Police — whether over their corruption or plain idleness — are long gone. 

A 35 year old murder, involving Police corruption has surfaced again.

But don't expect any convictions...

Swings and roundabouts.

A couple of months ago my neighbour topped herself.

She was deeply depressive and depressing and not very likeable, but one or two people would bang on her door every day to check that she was alright, but finally she had enough and overdosed. Her priest said that as her heart had stopped it was heart failure not suicide and she was buried with the full rites of the Catholic Church.

And half the street turned up to say goodbye.

I think you rather missed the point,the daily mails motives are irrelevant and her neighbours seem to have done as much as yours though as to her character being liked or not again is irrelevant.

Also since then the charity that run the flats have been less than competent,as I said yet another charity (tax scam) who actually may be peddling sanctimonious crap.
