Not sure what sort of scientist he is but I'm sure the Jews will find something for him to do for them. But he shouldn't assume his work will formally define him as UNFIT to fight. The Jews are a bit picky about that. A bit like we used to be in grandad's and dad's time. Being a boffin didn't get you out of uniform it just meant you were expected to kill more than one person at once.
