Best do some research then.
You made the point, the onus is on you to prove your statement.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Apparently they're all voluntary according to B0ycey. I've not read that anywhere.
I'd suspect that most of the redundancies would be in geographical areas of reasonable employment opportunities.

Hopefully, the company — with roots going back to the early 1500's, will treat employees fairly. Also, let's hope employee representatives work for the employees' good and not to further their political aims, as happened with the miners...

Whoooaaaaahhh there Posty. Don't turn united deep Tory blue on us given you are one of the more responsible Tory voices on here. Every single worker that does a full time job irrespective of skill should have a decent standard of living. If that doesn't happen then the system is either broken or rigged against the poor. One thing we have learnt about the pndemic is that those jobs we class as essential also seem to be the worse paid. Another thing people don't recognise is manual labor may require low intelligence but it does requires high physical attributes the skinny weak office sitters simply don't have. Good luck with bankers making a suitable abode to reside for example. So which measure should we attribute to pay when for society to function it requires everyone to contribute again?
Where have I ever argued against people being given every opportunity to get fair pay? But, like being cut in on while queuing in line to take my turn, I object to people not playing by the rules — enforceable, or just respect for others.

What constitutes fair pay can be discussed, but I'd suggest brain power, physical effort, length of contract, and risk (both to the person and of losing the job) are all worthy of consideration when calculating pay. Same with renting out any funds I have (either in the bank or invested for a pension)...

Plenty of "refurbished" phones from around the globe available for a couple of month's rental from the big boys. Used with pay as you go sims, they're very affordable.

Smart TVs are not that expensive and, with access to broadband, there's plenty of viewing for all interests...

And how many chavs around Manchester do you see with a brick phone that can just call and receive txts? You know full well these people have me iPhones on 50 to 60 quid a month contracts. I know cause one of my girls is manager of an EE store.
One of your girls does not make convincing evidence especially as essentially your contention that people are on benefits getting top range phones is nonsense, you don't have to prove your employment status to get a phone.

You don't get free football on motorised systems, people who have them usually use them for porn. First question I always got asked back in the 80's was which are the porn satellites.

And yes if you look hard enough you can get free premiership matches only without English commentary which give the crap they talk is a bonus.

I suggest you go and walk through a council estate in Manchester, look through the windows and see what's hanging on the wall, what's in peoples hands with regard to phones. The only people who have brick phones are the dealers with burner phones.
You are assuming all those council houses contain an unemployed person. (They also may no longer be council houses due to right to buy.)
Plus if you wander around looking through windows, you stand a good chance of ending up in hospital. (Even where I live.)

Another assumption from you, he doesn't live in Spain so how would he know?

Probably right Nick. I expect he is a parody account from Comedy Central.

If your view is mainly formed via tv you will be misinformed and out of touch.

As an expat you might have an opinion but don't have a say.

Expat against Brexit. Comical value. Has to be a parody. When is Spain deporting all these bloody foreigners back to that shitty rock of layabouts and claimants HB?
