Looks like some yanks came to their senses and trumpton is going to be put back in its box....I hope.
Certainly, most of Trump's band of election deniers did very badly, which at least is a plus for US democracy.

I expect big baby narcissist Trump would have thrown a tantrum or two behind closed doors.
We are not all in the same boat. We are in the same storm. Some of us have yachts. Some of us have canoes. Some of us are drowning.

the question is who is opposing him ?

if the press are to be believed, the incumbent is showing quite obvious signs of Alzheimer's. This would hardly be a first, they elected a B Movie Actor but arguably he only showed signs of the disease towards the end of his term.

I said at the time he stood that my youngest was quite seriously looking like becoming a modern day GI bride and that fact gave me far more interest in American politics and of the then presidential campaigners it was an absolute no brainier which of the two front runners offered me the most hope and the better deal and on that basis I would have voted for Trump myself.

I'm not sure I would again but that's more to do with the fact the left would once again screw his chances of achieving anything at every turn.

The fact is you say they may be mad to vote for him again but on the one and only time I went to the states, 2019, to Washington and then Alaska, EVERYONE I met there in any capacity was rooting for the guy and wanted me to know it.

The problem I guess is too many in 48 other states had other ideas. Or maybe fiddled the votes .....
At the time John and all the moans I said he won fair and square, but then he lost in the same manner and was a absolute tosser who encouraged more tossers to attack the capitol.

To elect him again, but as far as the US goes and some of its inhabitants I'd not be surprised.

<t>In matters of taxation, Lord Clyde\'s summing up in the 1929 case Inland Revenue v Ayrshire Pullman Services is worth a glance.</t>
