When I saw the thread title I thought for a moment that Priti Patel or Suella Braverman had tragically died.
I can't see me using that headline for them somehow.
I did say this may not be what some people expected

We are not all in the same boat. We are in the same storm. Some of us have yachts. Some of us have canoes. Some of us are drowning.

I thought that the show had finished its run at the Dolman.

Where is it now?
Sorry, that was a run all this week at the Dolman Theatre in NEWPORT owned and operated by Newport Playgoers and hated by Newport Council because the companies that operate out of it are far better than the toddlers who appear at the council built abortion of a building with demonstrably shittier acoustics across the road.

Centre Stage Wales ran opening night Weds last and ran until their finale (where this PR shot came from) last night.

The company can't do extended runs of shows because if they did they'd hit limits set by Equity restricting the performing hours of child actors which apply to amateur and pro alike

And I hope to god no one ever has the insane idea of doing a remake of the film from which the clip is taken. Because there are some films whose earlier offerings benefit from a newer acting crew and director, some that offer a different light on an earlier theme (Mr Sutherland's version of invasion of the body snatchers comes to mind) but some where you just want to take the director and have Elphaba's pet simians feast on whatever sensitive dangly bits they can rip off the jerk's still living corpse.
