Except they always knew the EU were a big part of the conflict and now have to admit they were being played by the EU, a bit like the rest of us.

The EU's protectionist trade stance has been harming the world economy and damaging developing countries  for years .  Russia has known that of course but only now mentions it because of sanctions .
