Well I am back.

After some bad experiences on another forum where some idiot felt the need to spend two days causing strife and discord, including misrepresenting me and others and not letting it go when I asked him to, I decided that this little forum here is not all that bad after all. I became highly disenchanted with the one I have been on in the interim, mostly due to the conduct of a certain prat there.

About my frequent flouncing. I have long since realised that nothing any of us says on forums like this ever changes anything. There is therefore absolutely zero point in being here unless you gain pleasure out of it. Thus if - -because of the conduct of others or for any other reason - it ceases to be fun and just a source of aggro there is absolutely no point in staying. Which is why I come and go so often. If it stops being fun I need to be away for a while.

Though in future here if I should feel the need to depart I will refrain from requesting a permanent ban or an account deletion. Though when a site becomes a source of aggro for any reason I struggle to step away when I need to, so might if necessary request a temporary ban but hopefully it wont come to that. The other site I have left differs in that the conduct of one member who mostly agrees with my politics ironically enough has been so poor that I have only contempt for him now. I will not participate on any forum where such conduct is allowed to go unchecked. I will not be returning to that one until or unless he is no longer there. I know he wouldn't be allowed to get away with it here.

Cromwell himself is familiar with some of the goings on there. So here I am again. That is all I will say about that other place as it is relevant to the reasons for me wanting to come back.

If any of this post is considered unhelpful, by all means edit or delete, but I have deliberately avoided mentioning the name of the site I left or naming any individuals on it. This is not the only forum I have returned to.
