So where do you stop with death penalties?  Parking on yellow lines?

That trial has been widely condemned as being a kangaroo court using a false confession and dodgy evidence from one of the co-accused who then magically had all charges dropped.
I personally wouldnt have a death penalty . What Singapore does though is up to its people and its representative democracy . If they want to put you on a long drop for Parking offences thats up to them , nobody has to go there . But they wont  as any government that starts doing that would get unelected pretty quick .

I dont agree with the sentance  and maybe the guy wasnt treated fairly but I would support Singapore in its right to make its own legal decisions without outside inteference .

Not sure anyone got fitted up here , though I can see why people would say that given there are no jury's . The judge being the sole decider of guilt . The penalty is what it is , if you dont like it dont traffick drugs

And if the Singaporean police fit you up you're toast.  It's a ridiculously disproportionate penalty applied by a highly flawed legal system and it does not work.

I would dissagree , they dont want drugs in their country and if you bring them in your toast . Cant be any clearer than that .

Singapore: wonderful airport, sus country with very dodgy legal processes.  If they don't like you then you're guilty.  The evidence in this case was weak and their drug sentencing is just abhorrent.

Bit of a leap into the unknown given the subject title , didnt know what was going to be revealed with a click . However knew full well what the potential punnishment was for his crime . Doesnt really matter if it was dope or peanuts  the punnishment was clear if caught , and he was .

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
