I asked you for proof of 14th Gay meaning, one line of txt, you produced a link as evidence. Are you denying that? Regardless of what you said, you produced that link as evidence of Gay being used as homosexual in the 14th century.

- word goes back at least to 14th century
- use for homosexuality goes back at least 100 years

So you have confused an association with a meaning.  So gay was associated with homosexual.  That does not say it was used to mean homosexual.  It was used to mean "young hobo".  I associate the colour grey with clouds.  But if I said to you "I saw lots of greys today", I doubt you would think it means clouds, because grey does not mean cloud.
