You do know that amazon will deliver you a gadget that will enable you to achieve this ambition dont you....

Dont ask how I know  just dont...

I don't think I want to know. Strangely it is no longer an ambition of mine, I found I had certain advantages as a female.  8-)

As a little girl I wanted to be a boy. The advantage as I saw it at that time, was that like the little boy next door I could wee in a huge (to me) arc into the water butt instead of having all the pa-lava of running indoors and upstairs in mid game. Luckily for me the transgender brigade were not even thought about.    :dncg:

<t>In matters of taxation, Lord Clyde\'s summing up in the 1929 case Inland Revenue v Ayrshire Pullman Services is worth a glance.</t>

Maybe this highlights the lack of mental health and associated counselling services in the NHS. Such cases are never going to be mainstream.

Although more serious than the inability to have children, I don't think gender identification problems should be using direct NHS facilities any more than fertility problems — unless they are the direct result of treatment for other medical problems...

In short, I have zero sympathy

In another thread I just said we no longer allow kids to be kids. I'm afraid the gender identity nazis have pushed society into a state where sense has gone out of the window.

I see no good reason to allow a child below the age of majority to demand these services of our doctors or parents of children below that age to demand them on behalf of those kids.

That may mean years of 'unhappiness' for some but guess what ... I dont think rushing to surgery or other drastic intervention is something we should allow, or be proud of allowing, on the NHS or through private practice.

Furthermore, any person consenting to have these procedures done once above the age of majority should be legally forced to sign away their right to whinge about anything other than surgical malpractice. Whining that you didnt realise it would be like this and they should have stopped you cuts no ice with me. Not least because I was forced to choose between a 30% chance of going blind under the surgeons knife, or a 100% chance if going blind at some random future date.

Whingeing that I went blind under thecsurgeons procedurecwould have got me naught but a finger pointing to the not remotely small print at the back of the consent form stating these dangers in Ariel 18 point.

On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

Because of this the NHS should refuse to have anything to do with sex changes based on the decision of a misguided person that they want to be a man/woman or think they are a man/woman trapped in the opposite sex's body.

Send them to a counsellor, or send them to BUPA.

Do feel sorry for someone being so mixed up,but if they'd refused they would've been accused of abusing this persons rights.
