If they had 'token whites' in the mens' 100m, they'd usually come last.
That's the point, it's ok to have a really bad black news reader doing the 6 o'clock news on the BBC instead of a much better white one, but can't have a white runner cause they'll come last. If a company interviews 10 people, only 1 white guy who is by far the best candidate, would he be offered the job? I doubt it in todays woke world.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Elite sport is about performance /competition not colour . The best get the gig unlike the woke institutions that have tick box diversity at the top of the  agenda .

Its why they should be told to f off when they complain about black representation in sports teams like the womens footballers in the summer .

When the civil rights movement was started in the 50's they were not campaigning for representation ,they were campaigning for colour blindness ,equality and a fair crack of the whip . That's been taken by the equality loons of the socialist left and turned into a racial division it was never intended to be

But yes why not put a white face in the 100m line up , what odds are you giving for him to come last ?;)

I might not be an expert but I do know enough to correct you when you're wrong!

I am surprised you have only just noticed that.

Just watched the men's 100m heat at the diamond event and every single runner was black. Years ago it wouldn't even have registered, but with all the fuss about representation shouldn't some of the black runner have been replaced by white, Chinese and Indian runners, regardless of how fast they were?
I've seen some pretty substandard black news readers, anchor persons and such on TV as a token gesture, surely this has got to go both ways?
