More than one fairly well known actor renowned for their career treading the boards has gone on tv - at the BBC of all places - to denounce trigger warnings

I'm with them. Live theatre or at least most non-comedy live theatre is supposed to make you uncomfortable, to make you THINK about what you're watching

I remember when i watched the CSI episodes when the shows were still running the announcer was forced to declare the show depiced violence, graphic details of trauma, violence towards women, blah blah and i'd say 'of course... i bloody hope so'

Bush Theatre criticised after issuing 'self-care guides' for performances: 'Utter nonsense!'


A London theatre has been blasted by GB News presenter Stephen Dixon after issuing a 12-page 'self-care guide' for audience members attending productions at their venue.

The Bush Theatre has begun publishing the guides for several of their shows including play Lady Dealer and one-person show Elephant.
