Potholes and politicking

Exactly the same here too. We can't move for road works of one kind or another. Empty cycle routes are creating more dangers. One main road here has been reduced to such an extent by a double lane cycle track that if you meet a big lorry coming at you, you might as well head for the curb. It's crazy.

Since Labour got in there has been a "pothole blitz" in our area and the roads on the island have benefitted a great deal.
It seems a bit of a coincidence in the timing.

Obviously potholes on most minor roads are the remit of local authorities such as Swale Borough Council. So why did they choose to spend money on the roads just after Labour got in?

To make Labour look good of course.
