I can think of another four I would very happily see follow in their footsteps.

Happy to step up and carry it out for them as well.

No it isn't, or the executioners would be in prison.

<t>In matters of taxation, Lord Clyde\'s summing up in the 1929 case Inland Revenue v Ayrshire Pullman Services is worth a glance.</t>

Hmmm well the Nuremberg laws were legal and enshrined in the law of that land, it enabled the violence and a number of murders on Kristallnacht, they further facilitated the decisions made at the Wansee conference where the decision was made to murder a whole section of human beings......all quite legal in that country.

As I said Barry whichever way it's spun....its legal and enshrined in in he law of that land you have purposely taken the life of another human being (however despicable they may be) and so its murder.

No it isn't, or the executioners would be in prison.

Er, no. Murder is defined in law. Execution, where legal is enshrined in the law of that land, therefore is not murder.

Judicial executions don't appear to be the pinnacle of any civilisation...

Of course, Pat, the USA is not the pinnacle of civilisation.

I'm also in favour of the death penalty for certain crimes and I'm quite happy that all of these people are dead.

God will sort them out.

Is there no conflict between deploring abortion but accepting capital punishment? It's all death on our terms rather than God's.

Mind you  my daughters rapist died about a year after the act - of aids - in his home village about a days drive inside india from the Bangladesh border -  having fled back there when he found out what i used to do for a living, so I say the more such scum that end up in the ground with him, the merrier .... certainly the merrier I shall be.
