There is, of course, a political connection between Starmer and football clubs.  He took the knee.  So those FCs which are woke are probably the ones gifting him.  So it's sounds like bribery to me.  Keep pushing the woke ideology, keep getting freebies.
Those princes who have done great things have held good faith of little account, and have known how to craftily circumvent the intellect of men.  Niccolò Machiavelli.

That's the most hilarious part  ;D

That Labour supporters are so surprised and dismayed that people hate them so much  Dancing  It's like they genuinely don't understand

No amount of explaining can relay it to them, either

This new Labour lot have not kept to this at all. From the word go they have been seriously on the take, have gone on the offensive against pensioners finances, whilst breaking rules on declaration of gifts. Something they complained about over Boris's wallpaper at Downing Street, which wasn't even something he could take with him.

100%

It's outrageous how they are just doing anything they can get away with at this point and laughing in people's faces, then saying no we won't do it again when the backlash becomes too intense - then immediately do it again

It's like slapping people in the face, is it a surprise that people are so angrily opposed to them?

If people are daft enough to give gifts to the PM more fool them though Starmer defending his acceptance of match tickets as he wouldn't be able to go to the game otherwise  is pretty weak . Just buy an executive membership private box for the season and he is sorted . Im sure the tossers  at Arsenal would be more than happy to accommodate .
Don't even know what he is doing supporting Arsenal anyway being  born in Millwall territory ,then again they would lynch him down there so its just as well he has crossed the river which by the way is  a mortal sin
Anyone else in business was given presents they would be be suspected of accepting bribes.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

QuoteKeir Starmer has declared more free tickets and gifts than other major party leaders in recent times, with his total now topping £100,000 after recent support for his lifestyle from Labour donor Waheed Alli.

The prime minister has accepted almost 40 sets of free tickets during his time as Labour leader, mostly to football matches but also £4,000 of hospitality at a Taylor Swift concert and £698 of Coldplay tickets in Manchester.

He was criticised this week for the scale of gifts given to him by Lord Alli, who paid for work clothing worth £12,000, accommodation valued at more than £20,000 and glasses valued at £2,485 – especially since the donor was temporarily given a pass to No 10 after the election.

Angela Eagle, a minister, struggled to defend the prime minister's decision to accept so many freebies when pressed on Times Radio on Tuesday. Asked why he shouldn't buy his own glasses, given his salary, Eagle said: "I'm afraid I'm not responsible for decisions the prime minister makes."
