If you cant get any Lavazza  Borky or even if you can check out Whittard of Chelsea  coffee  range . Some crackers here ,the a bit expensive but perfect  Jamaica blue mountain  , Monsoon Malabar or Sumatra dark roast to name just a few  . Just restocked for the lockdown ,you wont be disappointed .

Well I suppose you are right.I had to search from one end of Waitrose to the other to find any Lavazza coffee. I finally found a couple of packets that should last me until the end of the week, but if this nonsense does not sort itself out by then then I may well be in dire straits

Hyperduck Quack Quack

Re Brexit, which I only mention because someone else did in an earlier post. Brexit is a mere side issue at the moment.  All countries appear to be co-operating in the fight against coronavirus, individual EU countries are closing their borders and introducing their own versions of lockdown. The EU as an institution appears to be taking a back seat on this (that's not a criticism) but hopefully they will step in with help where needed.  My guess is that EU might have a bigger role to play in the recovery process whenever the world starts to return to normal.

With the removal of most recognised pastimes/distractions, sport, pubs. clubs, theatres, cinemas, is it an opportune moment to have a place where anything goes for those who otherwise might get physical, kick the dog or cat or run screaming in frustration into the arms of Mr Plod?

Just a thought.

To be honest toots, we tried in latterly on the old forum - Saturday Sewer - and no-one ever took the bait. Ended up way down the list of active posts and a bit of a waste of time.

EDIT** Also, going long back, the TOP area on the old forum caused MAJOR problems when discussion was left totally unmoderated - the number of good posters who left far outweighed the crappy ones loving being able to get their rocks off against each other.

Are you joking ?   Brexit is no nearer than it was in 2015 . People will start dropping like flies , we will be dissecting the NHS ,the welfare state and what we got down  the Trussell trust  for dinner

Ive already been at home for 14 weeks for various reasons , the pubs now out of bounds and if the golf club shuts I wont have to open the garden gate . Well I haven't actually got a garden gate but you know what I mean .

Building sites are closing as all the Romanians have legged it , theres no food in the shops and they have run out of bogroll .  (just as well I brought 5000 rolls last week )

This must be what its like living opp north Borky  , we only need it to start raining and we will get an original experience .

To be honest Toots, about what? Brexit is pretty much a given, Covid-19 is not much more than a few snotty noses and well, that is it. What on earth have we to argue over?

You mean a T.O.P. forum? Do you remember that on Steve Taylor's forum? It was the wild west on steroids.
