I forget now which of the books it is, but Terry Pratchett wrote of his creation that for those who lived too near the centre of the disk, in the region of the Ramtop Mountains, where dwelt the various gods of the pantheon (well most of them anyway), it was hard to be an atheist when the gods came down from the mountains and kicked your windows in on a Saturday Afternoon.



This morning, I chanced upon a proclamation clearly distributed on the orders of the upper executive of the deluded snowflakehood of the tree hugging order of the Virgin Martyr Saint Greta of Thunberg:-



It seems that the lockdown has so changed the world that the Snow Capped Himalayas are now visible from villlages 200 kilometres away, something unheard of in thirty years

Even now they prepare for the moon-dark hunt that provides them with the subjects for the brain feast, a ritual not completed in many life circles...
