I hereby award you the Boysie Award (First Class) For Stating The Bleeding Obvious. Carry on like this and come the revolution they will name a Gulag after you

Thanks. But I am no Stalinists. I think a Scandinavian type of Socialism can be achieved without sending everyone to jail. Like all national projects, people tend to support them better when the government run things then once they are run for profit.

Are we to pretend that Blairites are Socialist reformists?

Although you can repeat your nonsense as much as you like, the Tories are in power because they didn't split their vote.

You are aware that government expenditure will go up outside the UK because of cost burden aren't you? Although being I live in Scotland that isn't really a point aimed at me anyways right?

For an independent Scotland to keep its spending habits, it will require mass immigration which is why the SNP want it more than anything. It is why there be a big movement up north when it happens. It is why the Left can wait.

Because as it stands, it is financially not viable, with a huge f**king deficit with expensive oil. The days Scotland ran a surplus are over.

QuoteThe GERS data is ludicrous: Scotland does not generate 60% of the UK's net fiscal deficit
[/u][/b]

Quoteincome is estimated on the basis of that arising in scotland but spending is estimated based on that arising for scotland. So only taxes paid in scotland are included.

..But expenditure based in england wales and northern ireland is also charged to scotland when scotland allegedly is deemed to benefit from it.

The tax paid to generate that expenditure is not taken into account.

The whole system is therfore desgined toshow a deficit that doesnt exist in scotland.

labours policy under corbyn on trident was one of the most muddled ill thought out pieces on nonsense i have ever had the misfortune to hear in all my years.

Good old british left , all over the place on every concevable issue , yet cant understand why no one want s them elected

Corbyn was just one step. He was never the answer. He had way too much baggage like Trident and was a generation ahead of his time in terms of policy. Besides, the SNP is the next step. And until the generation divide turns left in the UK, will remain the next time for the foreseeable future.

Thomas

QuoteFaced with the opportunity to issue a symbolic public rebuke to the government for bypassing Parliament on a matter of war and breaking international law, the radical socialist opposition Labour Party of Jeremy Corbyn... abstained.

But few were surprised when that right was tossed aside without a word of protest from Labour (indeed, with some vocal support from the Labour benches), because it added to a very long list of Labour abstentions when the chips were down on any number of major issues of recent years:

On a Tory bill for an early EU referendum

On retrospectively depriving workfare victims of compensation

On the right of civil servants to strike

On rejecting the siting of nuclear weapons in Scotland

On condemning the Iraq war

On free tuition for students

On minimum pricing of alcohol

On opposing the top-rate tax cut from 50p to 45p

On opposing savage cuts to public-sector pensions

On stopping fuel-duty increases

On maintaining concessionary bus travel for the elderly

On massive pay rises for councillors

On the criminalisation of squatting

On reducing VAT from 20% to 17.5%

On the Scottish budget

On brutal immigration reforms

On fracking

On the bedroom tax

On savage welfare cuts and the benefits cap

On welfare cuts again

When it really matters – and sometimes even when it doesn't and is just an easy open goal spooned into the stands – you can always count on Labour to do nothing.

Rent? Until independence it is the UK. And with independence, the waters in the rest of the UK are too shallow to make Trident worth keeping. You don't get it. Trident is actually the only reason Westminster want to keep Scotland. Because as it stands, it is financially not viable, with a huge fucking deficit with expensive oil. The days Scotland ran a surplus are over.

Nobody cares. The SNP is basically the Socialist revolution. That is they are more like old Labour than new Labour.

you obviously do to respond. So we are no longer the tartan tories but now the tartan communists?

Quote It is a generation or two before we see the youth vote count for anything in the UK.

The uk wont survive a generation or two for that to happen , if it ever does.

QuoteBut in many ways if Scotland is to leave it would be better to do so now before we waste even more money on Trident. But Johnson is going to stop that happening for at least five years and whilst the is a 50/50, you can forget about revolution either.

Everytime an english momemtum loony chapped on a scottish door , the SNP took another vote.

It is a generation or two before we see the youth vote count for anything in the UK. And when it does it changes the whole political divide. Your so blind to think I care about something as pointless as the Union. It is on borrowed time. Again that is an age demographic.
