I'm sure you're right, but as you often say..it's nothing to do with me.

For someone who tells me its nothing to do with you , you dont half go on about american politics and issues in threads. You dont want to talk about foreigners in the yookay having links with american politics , but are happy to blab on about russia and chinas links ?

As i said dyno , i wont be losing any sleep over it , but i bet you do the way you drone on about it.

QuoteIt is a shame about Brexit but what's done is done, it's going to happen like you said..folks chose it, on their head be it.

It will be a tough year, but not because of some political wranglings and whichever deceptive politicos are in power, that doesn't touch the sides in the real world. But life is about to get harsh...

I have every confidence in you and your fellow countrymen dyno. Dont be so pessimistic.

Looks like the cant who said he "didn't want his kids to grow up in a desegregated jungle" is going to win pretty adamantly.

Yet, Trump's support among black people is much higher than Biden's apparently. It's come to something when they still prefer Trump even after all this.. Biden must be really hated by em'.

The shameful state of yank politics (shakes head).

How can an incomplete deal be worse ?

The details so far. Have you not looked at the criticism of it from all sides?

That begs the question, if you (rightly) oppose TTIP; why are you supporting this next US-UK FTA which many are saying is even worse?

Seems we are having a week of trying to re-write History .The EU were for the TTIP deal ,the Commission ,the deal makers were all for it . In fact it was UKIP that stood up against it and gained enough support in the EU parliament to scupper the deal

But of course UKIP MEP's  never did anything but drink the bars of Brussels dry .

Correct on that last part. ;)

Their small tantrum was a welcome addition to the much much much larger opposition to it from around the world and on both sides of the Atlantic.

Obama like I said tried to take complete control over the EU with TTIP, which the EU smartly refused. I know we have always been the US's poodle but the EU is a bit smarter than that.

wasnt there always a close link between british labour and the democrats in yank land? So much so the likes of jim murphy and kezia dugdale were sent over by the party to be taught "the political way?"

Maybe thats why both of them were abject failures in everything they did?!  :)

But you're right pet, I have voted Labour since their formation as a party in 1900, and Democrat since Andrew Jackson, the wonderful fella he was. I have fought consistently and clearly to deny the Scots the right to tap water as it all belongs to England imo - and I've fought consistently to get braveheart censored.

Calm doon hen , you seem a wee bit exasperated.

I told you before i know very little about yank politics , and i care even less. However , i find it funny as feck how some foreign president in another country that neither you nor i can vote for , winds up you people to the extent thats all you seem to talk about most days .

Trump may or may not win in november. For me , itll be no feckin skin off my back either way.

For you , if he wins , i suspect you will be terribly upset.

The same models , chattering classes either side of the atlantic and media you talk about saying he will lose were the same ones saying he would lose last time. Personally i wouldnt take much notice of them.

You tell me the economy will see trump out on his arse , the same as you and many like you told us the economic effect of brexit would see remain win.

Its been a tough year for us all so far with this peking pox. I suspect its going to be an even tougher end to the year for you and many like you.

You will be sitting on the edge of your seat hoping and praying trump loses , and then a few weeks later facing brexit.

You have my sympathy , as i dont fancy your chances much either way. 8-)

No I won't.

I actually got banned from elsewhere for 'defaming' Biden. To me he is arguably worse than Trump and as I said, it may be better if Trump wins.

The Dems are getting whole police depts 'defunded' across the USA. They are loopy. I don't and have never supported Dem ideals.

Their history from the days of the solid south is one of extteme racism, so no I don't support them. Biden is pro segregation and a Chinese shill.

The economic times as I said is a BJP rag, I wouldn't listen to them if I were you, and it's you who seems wound up, it made me laugh "Trumps de escalating conflicts"    ...admit it, the econ times are talking rubbish.

The economic times, a BJP rag.

"Granted, the millionaire's son Trump escaped being drafted from the Vietnam War after being diagnosed with spurs in his ankle, or whatever. At least, President Trump has kept the USA out of new wars while trying to disengage from conflicts he has inherited from his predecessors."

Putin or the chinese government dont bother me. Same as trump.

For me it was summed up back in 2014 , when putin put cameron in his place about scot indy while we always joked that the generous chinese gave us their pandas  , and now there is more chinese pandas in scotland than labour mps.

Yer man obama , however was a cant who stuck his nose in to scottish independence while sitting against the backdrop of the 4th jull american indy celebrations from britain while telling us to stay under their rule.

So youll forgive me if im not on the same side as you on the international stage.

My man Obama?

What makes you think that?

Brcause I support peaceful protest now I support Obama? Well ok, if you think I support drone strikes in Pakistan on his first days in office and the Libyan affair, or TTIP (the "EEEEUUUUU" smartly refused) and so on then I don't think you've grasped my politics.  :-P

Well I can read Cyrillic, have Russian iconography and books, and used to attend Russian services in old slavonic etc and know quite a few of em', and so on... and am into all kinds of Chinese cultural stuff, even wrote a few songs in 4th century Chinese scales...

It's important to divorce them from their govts, like with us Sassenachs. ;)

I wish Gorbachev had been given the chance to reform Russia the way he wanted to before the CIA, in collusion with oligarcs got him overthrown. I hate men like Yeltsin more than I hate Putin. But he is still a present problem, and will destroy anyone who gets in the way of his agenda... plans were leaked recently for a possible attack in the Baltics. As for China?
