Govt lawyers tried to stop Dom C being named in employment tribunal case

Personally I could not agree more. All the more reason to be extremely wary  of the roll being played in the cabinet office, by the unelected yet indispensable Cummings, and his unelected band of brothers.

As far as I'm concerned, everything that will further the cause of Brexit is democratic. Our very own Boris Johnson got rid of the undemocratic backstop.



It is now time to get behind the country and rally behind our leadership.

That raises a couple of questions. As brexit is done, and Boris, is considered capable.Why does he need Cummings, and his team, to make the policy and drive the bus?  Getting behind the country is easy.  Wanting brexit is easy. But before we get behind the leadership should we not be sure the leadership was actually the one elected?

So here we have the unelected , judging the unelected. Whilst influencing the elected to such a degree, they are ,"frightened",to do without the unelected's presence. Sounds like democracy in the UK is the loser here.

While I do think Mr. Cummings has amassed a wee bit of too much power in his hands, extreme times call for extreme measurements. We needed someone like Mr. Cummings to drain the mire and cleanse the civil service of remainers and fifth columnists.

Steve Baker, MP, a fellow brexiteer tells us If Cummings, goes he takes a team with him. Probably unelected as he is.The inference being they , the unelected run the place.  Remarkable really as unelected is one of the problems in the EU. And a favourite stick used on the existing Civil service.

Dominic Cummings will be named and expected to give evidence in an employment tribunal over the sacking of ex-chancellor Sajid Javid's former aide, Sonia Khan.



Government lawyers have failed to have Cummings' name removed as a respondent from the sex discrimination and unfair dismissal claim.. ...Barristers for Sonia Khan - who was fired by the Prime Minister's chief adviser last year and escorted out of Downing Street by police officers - are said to have successfully argued that Mr Cummings' behaviour is pivotal to her case.



Solicitors for No.10 had attempted to argue that his name should be removed and replaced with that of the Cabinet Office in Ms Khan's claims of sex discrimination and unfair dismissal
