It is not learning the lessons of the past is why Britain is in the dire state it is today.

I can understand learning from our relatively recent past, say the last two hundred years but Egyptology and others similar - a gross waste of time.

People who waste their valuable time, studying the way people lived thousands of years ago, such as the Egyptians etc. What's the point, it's done and gone  - move on.

To ignore the past is to learn nothing. Not that the lessons of the past suit every agenda, hence the continuing struggle to reach a higher state for human existence.
