It was not doom and gloom.  The armed forces are decimated.  Just like the Police and the NHS in England.  And even on that decimation of some 30,000 police officers in England. There are still more police officers in England than soldiers in the British army. If that is your version of success.  I suggest you take your own advice. The links I have given  are a every day occurrence.  The UK military is a joke. Even the Generals, Admirals, and Air Commodores are telling you that.  The Royal navy has 19 surface warships.  That would not protect one aircraft carrier far less two.  The reason two were built goes back to the 90's..  Michael Portillo put forward the reason for a European rapid defence force.  It would have 3 aircraft carrier.  Two built by the UK and one by the French.  The French have 4.  The  Navies of the EU would supply escort cover to the aircraft carriers.  That is now up in the air. 

That is how long those things take.  And the reason Portillo came down that line.  He knew sooner or later America would elect a president who would withdraw from NATO.  He is here now.  And if re-elected and withdraws from NATO.  The penny will drop.  Neither does the UK have a independent nuclear deterrent.  It is owned and leased to the UK by the Americans and under the total control of the POTUS. Despite the fanny being spouted.  I suggest you grasp reality instead of listening to fanny and semantics,  from the gobs of clowns in Number 10.  Then going gung how we won the war with other peoples life. FFS this bunch of clowns could not even supply flak jackets, ammunition and medic response to troops in recent clashes.  They had to be extracted under cover of the Americans, Puff the Magic dragon. Scotland has 8.4% of the UK population.   And contributes 2.4% of its economy to defence.  It gets 3.4% of defence procurement.  And the ships are not being built in Scotland.  They are being put together there.  That is a £6 billion shortfall.  And there are no surface warship in Scottish waters.  And the threat to the United Kingdom is the Northern approaches. London and that area gets 45% of defence procurement. I will leave you to work out bribing.  But heh why let facts get in the road of absolute baloney.

You don't know that is going to happen, if it does, it will be on both sides of the pond and the French will riot to get it changed. Only way will be to get an accord, so your prophecy of doom will be very short lived.

Get this into the grey matter between the lugs.  If the Uk crashes out without a deal with the EU.  Any free tariff deal the UK does with any WTO member.  Then it has do do the same with all 164 members.  And they do not have to reciprocate.  .  End off.  No ifs.  No buts No question marks, commas or any other thing that distracts you.  I suggest you watch and listen to those who know what they are thing about.
