Frankly I just don't believe you. You must know a lot of people who take some very unnecessary risks when travelling abroad.
Believe what you like.

You are the only person I have ever heard mention this thing.

They used to be called  an E111 card and if you have travelled to Europe for many years frankly if you are pleading ignorance don't extrapolate that ignorance to others.
I think you are being perverse for the sake of it.
That's nice for you.

I'm as happy to extrapolate my own ignorance of this to tohers as you are to extrapolate your own knowledge of this to them.

I do actually know other people and I do actually plan my holidays and adventures with them.
Everyone I know just gets in the car or on the plane.
You are the only person I have ever heard mention this thing.

America travel insurance, we all disccuss.
It's part of our journey planning.
This card you speak of....

Never heard of it. Who has?

OF course you do, but then you also think there's an army of commies on benefits working for the tooting popular front with iphone x's, volunteering to stealthily rejoin us to the EU .. their base is probably somewhere in Merseyside/Cheshire ;D and their leader is a corny old socialist oil well, .. he says he's a socialist anyway, but he's secretly being paid off by Merkel.. ;)
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Despite having travelled extensively in Europe, this thread is the first time I have ever heard of one.
Critical of them? I doubt many people even know of them.

He has as yet done nothing to back up his opinion of an EHIC card. He is the first person I have ever come across critical of them.

I will just have to pay for medical insurance. As the over 15 million Brits who travel to Europe every year will.

As indeed does every other person in Continental Europe.
That's the Continental European way.

In fact that is the global way.
With only the UK and Canada differing from this.

No, I said if you don't get up in the morning and make a living in China you get no state benefits and you starve.
People collect tin cans or cardboard and weigh it in, they most certainly don't drink super strength lager and watch SKY tv on their 50' LED tv at our expense.

As for gun boats, I'm assuming that French trawlers still have 1 forward and 4 reverse gears cause they'll need them.

You said something about how this country should be like China... and as you say, you love gun boat diplomacy.

Gong xi.

1, I never stated it would

3, I never mentioned that.

you insinuated it.

so if people are still going to go to france , wont face prices on travel insurance (unless you can prove it) that are beyond easy affordability , and none of this will change attitude for or against brexit , what is your bleating about except as i said a pathetic muck raking attempt at throwing mud at brexit and the tories?
