, and there will be no deal for NI, much to their shame. It could well prove a slap in the face of all those that lost lives, and loved ones in those sad days

Im still laughing good old that the micks hink ed milliband is some political beast coming to their saviour.

This is the guy who shat himeslf to have an in out european referendum in the first place , ( unless there was a treaty change leading to the transfer of you much beloved westminster sovereignty from westminster to brussells ,) now being touted as the last gasp saviour.

While your man starmer is back in hiding. :D

More cheese gromit?
When the remainers are screaming about policy, you know the EU has been caught red handed trying to pull a flanker. International law my backside,  it is exactly what they did with everything we tried to push through Parliament after the referendum, until we sacked them, next time they are all getting sacked, they didn't believe they were getting their P45's the last time.

Exactly, no international law is being broken. We are merely giving our selves a choice if the Cartel tries to hamstring us, it's a UK law.

The EU doesn't like it hands the subject of a border in Ireland to them, THEY either build or don't build.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

That should do it, I think.

Very simple question being asked and Johnson can't answer. Point to the clause that you have an issue with. Johnson can't.

What does Johnson have to do before people say enough

There is no clause, it has to be presented as a suspicion that can not be easily disproved if you are not privy to the negotiations.
This seems to be a case of they won't give us a reason to cut, so we will give them one. Which only proves that's all Boris, and Co ever cared about.  Setting NI back to its old uncertain ,dangerous condition of 30. Years ago is of no real concern to them.If the Tory party  buy this as a tactic then it is going to happen , and there will be no deal for NI, much to their shame. It could well prove a slap in the face of all those that lost lives, and loved ones in those sad days

Sheepy

No problems Smurf, we will just take names and sack them at our leisure. It won't be the first time.

And for all the huffing and puffing, it is not exactly a packed chamber. I have seen bigger bus queues than this.

That does not mean MPs can't vote:-

He isn't the only one giving Bojo-The-Clown a hard time. (I am watching it live.) I don't expect Bojo to lose the vote, but it will be interest to see how much his majority is cut.

No it won't. As Churchill once said, one is enough.

Surrender to the EU.

Yep. Thats what labour will do for you baffy.

The UK signed this treaty, it took 3 yrs to get to that point, stop blaming the EU for what the UK did, all excuses are just than excuses. The UK brought the WA through many versions, changed this and that, then had all its legal and negotiation team review ever single word. Then they signed it.

You call that surrender Baff ??

GerryT

This bill is more about state aid and it's very ironic that the new UK/Japan trade deal has more restrictive state aid rules that what the EU was discussing.

But that's prob not an issue as the UK can just write a new local law and overrule that agreement.

It's a genius strategy, sign agreements, the complain about ABC and how you were tricked into signing the deal, then write a law to overcome the issue. Honestly, what oh what could go wrong.

That's as maybe, but Miliband is totally irrelevant as a has been.
It will be interesting if this Bill gets through, with all the discussion about whether it breaks any laws.
First it's what Miliband is saying and not Miliband himself that's  what is important
Every living PM has said this will break international law, that's not up for debate.
