See and streetwalker is one of our kinder posters, the way they are copping it on social media, they are barking up the wrong tree as usual, the electorate are on the edge with this Covid malarkey as it is, if I was them I might think about what they are saying first.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

Remoaning is over. Building a future out of a collapsed economy should be the prime objective. But if dishonesty and lying at home is to now be laced with reneging on international agreements, making meaningful deals with significant potential trading partners is going to be that much harder...

Says who ?  Tony fecking Blair , John backstabbing Major , David the coward Cameron , Theresa I did it for my country Mayhem or Gordon what comes after five Brown . As I say we will see what laws have been broken later as of yet they haven't broken one .

Quote from: Streetwalker on September 15, 2020, 03:53:36 PMOf course its about Brexit . Yes we are leaving anyway but it wont be leaving if part of the UK is still in the Customs union . We didn't vote leave to leave N Ireland behind and its not a price we are prepared to pay .
The WA was agreed on the basis that a free trade agreement would be agreed as outlined in the political declaration . That that part of the deal now seems a way off all Johnson is doing is protecting the integrity of the UK .

Even though the europhiles are shouting   breaking international law Im yet to hear exactly what law they are breaking . Indeed in the last hours government figures are saying the Bill is Not illegal

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/boris-johnson-brexit-internal-market-bill-a4547506.htm
Of course it's not about Brexit. The Brexit argument is over. Now all that remains to be done is to enact the deal Johnson's crew said was signed and oven ready. But it appears they have suddenly realised what they were told at the time that the agreement Johnson promoted could not and would not ensure the continuation of the GFA with no border controls on the island of Ireland.

Integrity seems a strange word to use in connection with Johnson and Patel (cited in your link). International law is being broken — Northern Ireland Secretary Brandon Lewis conceded it would go against the treaty in a "specific and limited way"...

You just cannot do anything with them Pat, as soon as they rear their heads the crew go wild and give them what for. They are a rowdy lot.

All signed up Europhiles weighing in to stop the UK having a clean break from the EU .  They dont really need to say anything ,we know who they are ,what they think about the Eu and what they think about UK sovereignty which they have all signed away to varying degrees .
This is not about Brexit. We are leaving anyway. It is about adhering to international law and to our treaty obligations, freely entered into and agreed to.

All the usual suspects seem to be against the bill so no change there. The only thing is, how does Boris intend to handle the Lords?
I have the same respect for them as they have shown the electorate over the decades, none, zilch, zero. Which would be the same respect the EU have shown those behind Brexit.

Isn't there a plan to move the Lords to York? I should think  the message might be:- You want to stay in London?  Pass the bill.

There you are Pappy. Boris is extremely fortunate in his choice of enemies. :)

His bodyguards don't think so, as soon as the Daily Heil, published those pictures of him in the wilds of Scotland, he was shifted quick because of the assessed risk of a sniper.

We are not all in the same boat. We are in the same storm. Some of us have yachts. Some of us have canoes. Some of us are drowning.

Considering they all have pretty dire records when it came to supporting the wishes of the majority of the UK electorate, look on the Brightside, they will get slaughtered on social media.
