Yes it is.

As a committed reactionary I will bet you a score that the Tories get in with a 40+ majority. If I win I will give the money to one of the local beggars to spend on drink or drugs.

As you appear not to have a clue about this GE not being the foregone conclusion you think it is, (even Boris admits that.) I have no desire to take your money. Especially if you mean over 365 seats.

It is not as  simplistic as you appear to think.

I think the Conservative election slogan 'Britain deserves better' is a shot in the foot since it's essentially telling the public not to vote for them given that the Conservatives bear most of the responsibility for the current problems the UK faces.

This is no doubt why the other focus of their campaign is the vilify the alternatibe.

I must admit I saw that and it's hilarious.  The Conservatives appear to have forgotten that they were the ones who were in government for the last 9 years.

"Britain Deserves Better" ROFL.

This is no doubt why the other focus of their campaign is the vilify the alternative to make Mr Johnson look like the least worse option. I hear they have spent a lot of money on an anti-Corbyn campaign.

I suspect it'll be brushed under the carpet.

I am buggered if I am going through all the marginals, but to my way of thinking 40% of the vote (the Tories usually get a 10% premium) should give Boris a workable majority.

You really do need to go through all the marginals because if you think the Tories are going to get a working majority you are in for a shock.

It is not as  simplistic as you appear to think.

Unlikely Pappy.

Most of us Tories are too busy sorting out visiting dates for all those Conservative MPs who are in jail because of the last scandal you unearthed so we have missed out on your latest shock, horror expose.

I suspect that what has happened is 6% of the electorate have decided to vote Labour rather than Lib Dem, which means that the 20% who were going to vote for Jo Swinton is now 14% and Wurzel's support has risen from 22% to 28%. Which is nice but still leaves the Tories on a comfortable 36%

Apparently it is:

Conservatives    36%

Labour              28%

Lib Dems          14%

Brexit Party      12%

Buggered if I know how many seats that works out at, but I dare say we will be told soon enough.
