Where did I say Mr Johnson was the sole person contributing to the current situation?



I singled him out for mention because he is the Prime Minister, a position if considerable responsibility not only in respects to how he fulfills his duties but also how he conducts himself.



His actions are not excused because of poor judgement or behaviour from other MP's.

A sorry state of affairs and innevitable consequence of increasingly belligerent language being used by those, including Mr Johnson, seeking to generate anger so it can be exploited for political gain.

Well thats a subtle dig at the conservatives here ciaphas (yes i know you qualify it by saying "those who seek to generate anger")by singling out the conservative prime minister over belligerent language.



Lets even that up abit , by talking about the labour party candidate for edinburgh south west in the upcoming ukge.



Her name is frances hoole.



Recently , she threatened joanna cherry , an snp mp who needs round the clock police protection to carry out her surgeries in her constituency , with spraying bleach into joannas face because frances disagrees with her.



Frances is a labour party member who is a graduate of the jo cox women in  leadership programme. ::

While you are all sitting here waffling on about johnson and the tories using nasty language to generate anger for political gain ( translates as seeks to exploit public anger over parliament refusing to enact brexit) , why is it that same language being used by labour is being ignored , or vaguely refferred to and ignored?



lets hope anti democratic labour get what they deserve in this election , and the public see through all this manufactured hysteria about the tories and vote in a brexit government in england.

It is your not knowing MPs security and the security of their staff in constituency offices was increased some time ago. It has been given a lot of national coverage. The problem was getting nasty before the general election campaign.

MPs have been warned that their personal safety is at risk in the run-up to the general election from voters angry about Brexit. Politicians from all parties have been told not to canvass on doorsteps alone or at night. Those most at risk have even been issued with personal attack alarms – or 'rape alarms' – which will trigger an immediate armed police response should the MP feel they are in danger. They have also been told to decline any offer from voters if they are invited into their homes as they campaign ahead of the 12 December poll.

Police investigated the House of Commons office of Jo Swinson on Monday morning after she was reportedly sent a parcel containing a suspicious powder.
