That's interesting, because if the majority of the House are being thwarted, it smacks of democracy being denied. What do you think?

I think it's more about how it's done. The system they have tried to use got past Bercow, but he bent the rules to do it. I am not familiar with the right way but this looks as if it was an effort to repeat over-riding the government by the back door.
