The sooner the country takes the WHO advice of not using lockdowns, the better.
Boris says there may never be a vaccine. The experts say even if a safe vaccine is found it may only be 50% effective. Herd immunity always was the way for theis virus to go down to a low background level.
Maybe the government should stop pretending that the virus is the only illness in town, when 97% of people are dying from other things.

Ah well leaving aside whether you go for lock down or open the country up I stand by what I posted,were  Boris advocating opening up he'd try to cash in political capital by advocating lockdown.

this is of course EXACTLY what our prize first tosseroo has done west of offa's dyke, and now it cometh back to bite him mightily on the arse.

Drakeford has been forced to admit that despite his stricter lockdowns that drove us to deeper depression and bankruptcy we are no further advanced than we were in March, and all he can promise is more of the same, no half term, no halloween, no bonfire night, no christmas and no new year.

There is a damn good reason why homo sapiens chooses to have a lot of alcohol fuelled merriment at this time of year, and this T@@@'s decision to ban it, combined with his imposition of vastly higher alcohol prices for certain products is going to get him set alight as a wicker man tribute act.
