So Smurfy is not the only one living in denial. Unless he IS AndrewJames, of course.

I am not in denial at all.  Bojo-The-Clown is openly racist and that is a matter of public record from his newspaper articles.
Where is the promised independent investigation into the Tory party?

QuoteI'll respect the report when the EHRC apply the same standards to the Conservatives. But the commission has become a joke. Their budget has been cut from £70m to £17m under the Conservatives. They sacked all the black and Muslim commissioners for being 'too loud and vocal' on race issues. And they dropped their investigation into the Conservatives despite much stronger and clearer evidence of racism than for Labour. Instead of fighting racism, the commission has become a tool to shield the tories from criticism.
So Smurfy is not the only one living in denial. Unless he IS AndrewJames, of course.

It's in the title surely. They are the Government. They are elected to do a job. They don't have to listen to all and sundry. The Churches shouldn't be political in any way in my view, so they are irrelevant, charities are exactly that and many make very good money out of their good works, and many others pointing the finger have only one agenda. Disruption of the elected Government.

The problem is the government has a "tin ear," to legitimate criticism and it will bite them on the backside.

The Tories quash any legitimate criticism, and have department at Tory HQ dedicated to doing just that by attacking and undermining the messenger.
They have done it to charities, the church, and anyone else who points out legitimately the damage they are doing.

I am very concerned as to where legitimate opposition is going to come from in Westminster.

you have my admiriation trying to soldeir on debating with pappy. Im sure you realise by now it wont be reciprocated in kind?

The interesting thing now is labour have just about ruptured what little chance they had in the next GE . On twitter and other platforms , its all out war between the blairites and corbynites.

Couldnt happen to  a nicer party.

I have one daughter whose mantra has always been 'kill them with kindness'.  I have seen her turn many a curmudgeon in that way I was hoping it was something she had learned from me.  ::)
I am very concerned as to where legitimate opposition is going to come from in Westminster. Much as I loathe the Labour party in all its forms, they have a constitutional job to do and at the moment they are a complete laughing stock both inside and outside of the HofC. If ever BJ was gifted ammunition from across the dispatch box this is it. PMQs could be very entertaining for a while if Government wasn't quite so stressed and shattered.

Be careful. I believe Corbyn was also prone to denial promising all sorts of repercussions while in the meantime the inbox on accusations was overflowing on his watch. You surely do not feel inclined to align yourself with such deceit?

The deceit I do not want to align myself with is the Tsunami of lies, propaganda and deceit, that was used to undermine a legitimate political party  made worse by the financial  interference of a foreign power.
It needs a criminal investigation and a forensic accountant to go through the banks accounts of those suspected to be involved.

Russians again. :D

You and patman need to get a room smurf.

Any evidence to back her up?  I am NOT a holocaust denier, and I think anyone who is should be jailed.

Denial in the face of this is not only pathetic but given your record totally expected, you've been caught out again as has your mate jezza.

Criticising the actions of the Israeli govt is quite acceptable, threatening individuals on the basis they are Jewish is not.......but you'll never accept that because it's not in your make up to ever apologise or admit you have erred,Ive known you across the three versions of this forum and I've never once seen you admit you're wrong, other posters have done so.

Well said cromwell.

Total denial of any wrongdoing of his beloved labour , especially the hard left elements within it that his cornish socialist workers are joined at the hip with.

A total utter crackpot unworthy of debate as you and i know from our 10 years or so of having the misfortune of reading his crackpot rantings across numerous forums.

There are many folk past and present i disgaree with politically , as you well know. You and i have often disagreed many a time on many a subject.

Most of us can carry on , respectfully disagree and contnue to debate our politics..........with the exception of smurf. Absolutely no time for the guy , his snivelling lies , cowardly support for labour and his constant moaning about the world around him .

Thats before you even begin  to talk about his fantasy postings about shooting tory mps or migrants with attack helicopters whilst trolling each and every thread with his uter bile.

I have nothing to apologise for.  I have never threatened anyone because they are Jewish.  In all walks of life there are many accusations few upon an official investigation are upheld.

It appears Starmer has not read the report in full either, the fact that complaints were exaggerated is recorded in the EHRC report.
