The fact that you say "the BAME community" thinks as one, all Chinese, every African, every Serbian etc, and then act as if David Lammy's Harvard-glazed opinion represents every BAME person, including those who support Trump or voted Bojo, says so much..

Another of your posts that says nothing.

'You xxxxxx, says so much'. Maybe but your post says nowt. How about you actually say something instead of dealing in cryptic posts?
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

I see that David Lammy on BBCQT once again used his race card to full affect.
Matt Hancock outlining the order in which jabs would be distributed based on vulnerability was hit with 'What about the BAME community'?  The list began:

Care home residents
Care home staff
Over 50's +
Etc
Etc

Why do BAME have to bring race into the arena at every juncture? I don't see WHITE in front of any of those categories. Strikes me the BAME community sees colour far more than anyone else does, I just see people.

Who renamed?

The group referred to in the first link above has registered as a Community Benefit Society, and is subject to strict rules.

Of course that cannot guarantee there's no interference

A) I'm pointing out that 'BLM' is not one monolithic movement.

As someone on here who's a huge fan of MLK and Malcolm X, DuBois and many others, I am a fan of the history.

If you know your history of the black civil rights movement, you will know they tried every single underhand tactic they possibly could (both domestic and foreign agents) to use/destroy/manipulate/kill/arrest them all.

These are facts of history, which you probably deny seeing as you seemed to deny any kind of racism existed in stokey back in the 80's and 90's, which is 100% at odds with what people said and what I personally witnessed growing up.

That's ok, you have your opinion but don't try and pass it off as gospel to me please.

2) The links I posted are facts. I hope you aren't disputing the assessments of researchees and those who are generally sympathetic to black civil rights causes?

Quoteamateur stirrers...

Which should be your usertitle where it was 'lord snooty' before.  :D

I'm simply offering you facts mate, take it or leave it, I don't want to see fake news and Russian trolls in our politics manipulating genuine black civil rights cause. I appreciate you don't care but I do.

Btw the original leader of BLM mysteriously died 4 years ago - https://www.google.com/amp/s/praisecharlotte.com/973218/black-lives-matter-leader-found-dead/amp/

And there's speculation he was replaced by a puppet; and that the org is merely havings its strings pulled by foreign influences now.....

Depends what strategy the groups intend to use. Although registering as a Political Party, a group may operate primarily as a Pressure Group. Both types of organisation can be used for political participation — one through directly acquiring power, and the other by influencing decision makers.

Tactically they may turn out to be hybrid — Ukip and The Brexit Part were effective pressure groups (if mostly unsuccessful as a political party), while Momentum was successful in colonising a political party while managing to steer clear of infringing party rules and being a political party...
PPERA (2000) is stark in its distinction between (say) Momentum and Hope Not Hate, who identify as registered third parties intending to pressure or lobby for political parties, and Labour, a political party registered to stand candidates for elected public office.

BLM have registered to be a political party and stand candidates. If BLM register to be one, and then try to be the other, they will a) demonstrate their ignorance of how the UK goes about organising its democracy and b) come in for quite a bit of stick.Me, I'm off to buy poporn ...

I celebrate BLMs appearance as a political party. It's about time the Blacks had a BNP. And it WIlL drain the votes of Black Momentumites from Labour .....  certainly in London boroughs, but elsewhere too.

Same here john.

As ever you miss the point both john and streetwalker are hinting at.

Where will BLM as a political party gain some measure of support?

In and around london?

If they take some votes off labour then they should be encouraged .

The other place they will do well is Bristol.

A hotbed of black violence going back decades, filled with people guilt tripped about slavery, yet quite unwilling to go without the many benefits it brought the city. The place where BLM started violent protest in the UK with its tearing down of Colston's statue despite a majority of those who responded to a council request for citizens views saying it should stay.

BLM showed their true credentials that day. A bunch of thugs quite willing to break the law to get their way, who know the police will stand and watch, and black elected officials will refuse to condemn.

Bristol is also the city that elected Tony Benn (who would be quite aghast at the breaking of the law to achieve political ends, at least in public) and Dawn Primarolo, a woman thrust into the front bench by Mandelsons Mortgage Fraud, which ended the political career of the then Paymaster General. Primarolo is famous for refusing to pay her Poll Tax which was paid by a pre-internet firm of crowdfunding, and for having a sidekick whose claim to fame was a declaration that the Taxpayers Charter to treat taxpayers with equal fairness did not mean two individuals in the same circumstances should pay the same amount of tax ....

A single issue pressure group, however good their cause might be, isn't going to thrive as a political party in general politics. The Green Party has hardly got anywhere at Westminster, UKIP and the Brexit Party didn't and I doubt very much if Farage's new pro-coronavirus Reform Party will.

I might not be an expert but I do know enough to correct you when you're wrong!

Good news , they will see how insignificant they will become when their policies are revealed to those who haven't been paying attention

Well this is .. interesting.

I was digging in the records of the decisions of the Electoral Commission a few moments ago ...

https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/who-we-are-and-what-we-do/party-registration-applications/party-registration-decisions

Now my main interest going there was some curious antics on the part of the Cottage Burners who in September this year sought to have themselves knows as "Carmarthenshire's Voice" and got that approved, but also applied to be known as the NEW Wales party on their election paper straplines and that was rejected. But that led me to the APPLICATIONS pages for the 26th October when Plaid applied for a complete change of name.

And above them in the list of party registration applications was  BLACK LIVES MATTER

https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/who-we-are-and-what-we-do/party-registration-applications/view-current-applications

Hopefully they'll be registered.

They'll be quite a useful tool to Boris. The same way the Gang of four kept Maggie in power by splitting the opposition. The more the merrier, I say ...
