If I live in your head and your head is where the briefing is, then I can only deduce that you are 'sir' Keir Starmer.

Nice to meet you, you neoliberal slimey bastart. 😜
So how did you manage to work out that I had called you a slimy Bastard? then turn up with mind made up and decide it must be because you live in my headspace? when in actual fact you did it all by yourself.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

Good point Dyno, what are you doing here then? I just told you, you get briefed tomorrow.

Slimey bastard eh?

It's good that I live rent free in your head though.    :-*

Carrie is in charge now.

There is the VAT on the vehicle.
The insurance (compulsory) premium tax.
Excise duty.
Large amounts of tax on petrol and diesel (58p per litre!)

That's not enough though, is it?
There's a tax take shortfall if fossil fuel powered cars become normal — ie, less fuel tax and duty, lower road fund income, lower congestion charge receipts, etc, etc, etc.
So there's likely to be even higher taxes on diesel, petrol, and LPG; a mileage charge is likely (probably boosted by time of day and location), higher VAT on car insurance and six-monthly MOT inspections. There's lots of extra ways the government can appear Green, by collecting more money...
On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

Here's a plan.
Charge foreign vehicles £2 a mile on our roads.
I guess sir Starmer hasn't told Dyno what to say yet. Lets hold off on calling him another slimy bastard.

Just one thing they already are, it is called road tax. But don't let that bother you a tax on tax is always good if you are heavily invested in green Charlie.
