That must be awful to be 'canonized', when women are not victims after all. I guess me and you are now left winger fantasists for suggesting so, oh dear.

dyno , yer a sound guy so you are , but i fink you need a good night out wae your mates to take your mind off victims and the eu.

Honestly FFS cheer up .

I have to say that I am not really up on Irish history, but was not Connolly a working class socialist who thought Paddy Pearse and Co were a bunch of middle class toffs?

I have to say that it is very hard keeping track of who are the goodies and baddies of the Labour party.

Anyway, this place is amusement value much of the time

your squirming is comedy gold dyno.

First of all you say you wish no harm tobrit soldiers depsite only the other week saying you wished a certain former brit soldier had had his throat slit by the paddies , now you say this forum is amusement value despite only the other week any "amusement value" being in short supply when you went into complete and total meltdown.

What is it dyno about you left wingers and labour luvvies that you constantly suffer from selective amnesia andthink everyone else suffers from the same short term memory too? :D

Your never ending bleating about the eu , the poor the poor and the wummin and wee children in the boats is whats comedy value , not to mention the evil tories and queen priti patel.

8 gunboats with machine guns in the channel now. I guess you are right, some people do take it seriously. While others pleasure themselves playing Sigmund Freud.

What apology?

;)

Anyway, this place is amusement value much of the time, it gets slightly serious, but I haven't spent like a decade spamming and exuberating (is that a word?) over fairly pointless topics mostly. But others seem to take it rather seriously.  ;) Even if they say otherwise..

When james connolly was strapped to a chair and shot , the labour party jumped up when they heard the news in the commons and cheered in jubilation.

Edit: Just reading also there's gonna be mass slaughters of livestock due to Brexit, may be the gunboats or the psychologists at the EU's kalergi cadwalladr project.. or scabby unwashed sheep hmm..

Or maybe them trying to get off with and shag anything in sight, failing and needing to be put down to foot in mouth disease, or maybe pleasuring themselves or welshmen. ;)

No idea what the sentient haggis is on about etc, something about angular left merkel is bad, Boris good, Tories good..

But I apologized. To Deppity. And said truthfully I didn't mean what I said to him, as he's a fairly decent guy.

so you should.

The whole feckin forum witnessed first hand you throwing your rattle right oot yer pram when you couldnt get people to agree with you.

it was like watching a wee wean having a complete meltdown.

I don't really wish ill on any Brit soldiers that fought over there,

you werent doing too badly till i read this and nearly feckin choked.

what was it you said to deppity dawg on here a couple of weeks back about slitting throats?

QuoteI don't really wish ill on any Brit soldiers that fought over there, they were young in many cases and probably didn't even know what they were getting themselves into, but don't tell me that "people should just move on" when you've got scum like Karen Bradley saying stuff like that - and lovely Tories saying all crimes should be pardoned on our side but not on the Republicans side, and yes they have openly said that many many times, and people like Gerry Adams should've been stuck in the cells. I swear they tried to arrest him a while back now?

No one is going to tolerate that rubbish. And I'm just a soft chinko russo commie plastic paddy ballicks cont from anglo-land whereas these are serious people you're dealing with - and messing with. My advice is don't treat the Norn Irish like they're stupid and should just lay down and accept spoonfuls of shite from the Tories endlessly; like they're just pieces of shite or  you already know the sort of insane stuff you can expect, and no one wants that. They certainly don't, they never asked for it.

I love the way you mention 'direct rule', you mean home rule don't you. You think we should have home rule, well that's in line with Cromwell's beliefs too, so I suppose at least you're consistent. I've no doubt this post will be modified or whatever but again, that's expected, you can do as you please..

I have made my opinion known many a time over the years regarding northern ireland. so no need to repeat it , but as you have been told time and again , it was and isnt as simple as evil tories/british against the latest victim group you wish to stand up for.

When james connolly was strapped to a chair and shot , the labour party jumped up when they heard the news in the commons and cheered in jubilation.

The labour party over the years have been more than happy to used northern ireland as thier own personal plaything and political tool , neil kinnock famously despised any "celtic " difference beteen the scots irish and welsh and the english.

Geoffrey bell , in his superb study "troublesome business ; the labour party and the irish question " (pluto press 1982) famously wrote that "the labour party and its historic view of the irish has been neither honourable , internationalist nor socialist".

Cannae remeber his name , but famously an snp politican said once that "our enemies are not the english . Our enemies are the people among us".

Thats remains as true today as when it was first spoken , and remains as true in northern ireland as it does in scotland.

Sixteen hundred and plinkety plonk? Cromwell himself was a wonderful man where the Irish were concerned.

And there were all kinds of horrible things happening even after GFA was implemented, it still took a while to calm down a lot of the extreme stuff, you look at news from around what? 2005? And you still had extreme things going on.

It's fresh in a lot of people's memories, sixteen hundred and plinkety plonk isn't as relevant as you think. Maybe forgiveness is needed but simply erecting 'peace walls' that people chuck fireworks over with huge divisions in Belfast, with the Tories openly and happily declaring themselves "THE UNIONIST PARTY - oh and btw we WILL NEVER CAVE IN to those terrible republicans" was always going to enflame rhetoric ever since Cameron got in. And uh later on.... people like Karen Brady saying unforgiveable stuff like this.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-47471469

Everyone could probably move on over there if not for stuff like that, but certain people make political capital out of stirring it all up, and it's not really the republicans I'm afraid, no matter how much anyone tries to insist that it is. The DUP deal wit hthe Tories springs to mind. With people like Baff posting that the Irish are total terrorist incompetent scum etc, that's rather disgusting.

I've got zero Irish blood in me and I'm a 'plastic paddy' probably (as if I care for your or others' labels) but my late Godfather was a Cork gentleman, and one of the best folks I've ever known in my life.
