Come on guys - be kind.

We are.

Pappy is 72 and still hasn't grown a 'tashe. We could make some really snide comments but we are just too bloody nice to the poor little bugger.

Ok Pappy, when you are older and your acne has cleared up, we will explain.

I am 72 years old and have never had acne so what are the lasted idiotic comments about?

It is when you complain about the postage.

No wonder Pappy hasn't scored.

The Bank of England should be trying to track down £50bn of "missing" UK currency, a committee of MPs has said.

No it shouldn't.

If it is actual cash then all those bank notes are IOUs on the Bank of England and by definition the British public. So if the holders decide not to call in their loans then that is all to the good.

Sometimes I wonder about our politicians

So let's be clear. Asking someone why they were sending post to a 90's pop star is a personal attack is it?

Humour yes, personal attacks no. That "wanted" poster has been causing hilarity all over the internet.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Tell us what Toots? (a) you have it? or (b) you know who does have it? or (c) you just found it amusing?
well, it amused me, because you said, you were still mulling over the answers of who you are.
At your age, I guess you should know by now.

;D ;D ;D Should I know who I am? Maybe. I know my name and address, NI no. etc but the rest? Well I am still working on it as I guess most of us are. My post was just a rather weak joke but I couldn't help myself on a dismal, dark, wet, cold Friday, but a phone call to a friend told me that she has it and tried to hide it under her mattress  but that meant she needed steps to climb into bed. Her sons recommended she convert it into gold, but she had concerns that the weight would cause her floor to collapse! She is still looking for a good hiding place and I suggested my garden but she wasn't amused.

Oh, we're allowed humour when you do it are we? But you flip when someone jokes about Britney!

The difference is there is nothing funny in your above post.
Who knew, smurfy was running a campaign to run the internet and bring down the Tories from his bunker in Cornwall.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!
