OK, so reading between the lines, how did he disappear in Paris and get hanged in Iran?
Seems the French didn't look after him too well in exile.

Apparently The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps ([IRGC] lured him back to Iran.  (How they did it I can't find out at this time.)
