I was criticised when I said I had little sympathy with RMT personnel during the P&O ferry sackings, because held a grudge over the union's previous activities.

I am sorry for the few RMT members who are likely to lose badly out of this dispute. BUT, as far as I can see, there's not been any management-employee negotiations yet.

So why racket up threats to strike status before talks start — do they think they're U.K. Brexit negotiators threatening to jettison the EU-UK agreement over Ireland...?

As I have said before, if brandy and aspirin don't work then that is the Almighty's way of saying that your time is up. But I am getting earache from both Herself and the surgery, so I will get the next shot as soon as they can fix a date.
Too bloody true  :)

Quote from: Barry on February 10, 2021, 09:41:59 PMNow into the 4th month of the November 4 week lockdown and the government still have no exit strategy. The suggestion from one report I read today is that restrictions may be lifted when people stop dying in hospital.
So, don't hold your breath.

Certainly holding it whilst on an A&E Oximeter is ill advised

This from Sampan Viking.
And talking of an approach to how he posts and to others beliefs.

QuoteThe reason I do not is because I know we are all strangers on the Internet and none of us know the reality of each others lives and what we have to go through.
Not a bad outlook is it?
I disagree with him greatly (as he'll no doubt testify) and most likely will continue to on some issues.

We do have the above access but I think that we should accept that our sources are full of lies that we swallow because we are all hopelessly gullible,

That is how it appears.

And Barry replies
Do you not have access to a TV, radio or any news media on the Internet?

I just smirked, never said a thing.
