I used to sound engineer for a Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band, any talk for Gary Moore or the like was met with purist silence. I suppose I must have picked up the snobbery 😆.

Some of SRV's Guitar playing is top draw , I think he plays Voodoo child better than Hendicks did . His Blues music is  Texan Bluegrass for me , I prefer his rock numbers . Having said that I prefer Gary Moores as well .

The Mrs was learning sound engineering when I met her . Our first date was a Uriah Heep concert  , I must admit I enjoyed the after party more than what they called music  Still 42 years later .....
