Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

You got a foot fetish, John?
I thought Sheepy was wanting me to do that stuff. I get a bit of arthritis, you know!

My grand daughter cannot watch any dance moves without locking her eyes on it to analyse and learn the moves. I'm afraid she's causing me to follow in the same way, but my eyes are not up to it.

She got another distinction last week.

Ballet Grade 2.

She has started the exercises that lead to her going on point sometime next year.

Now the shoes get expensive.

Ye god's. Have you nothing slower. I'm getting astigmatism trying to follow the footwork.

cheer the feck up, a bit of shuffle dancing will do the trick.

That reminds me of a lifetime ago (1970s) when I was on a NatWest course in London, during the lunch hour someone introduced me to the local bar where this particular track was playing.
There were also some ladies dancing whilst we drank our beers and they were taking their tops off.
I can't actually hear this music without it coming to mind.

It reminds me of a lifetime ago for two quite different reasons

First, it was among the last pieces I ever played on the synthesiser I built and took to a uni concert ...

The next morning a 32 tonne artic would fail to stop for a red light, and my musical ability would end in the impact that followed.....

But what worries me far more is the grand daughter and her musical theatre group. I saw them warm up to this last week and she's already looking a rival to Flick.

She was 11 last week !!!

A question if I may.

While researching a band I'd never heard of, I came across a comment on a YouTube post along the line of "I remember these guys on MTV in the days when it played music"

It's been a while (about 15 years) since I last heard of MTV. Do they still exist ??
