We walk off with no deal and job done, France's fishing industry is toast and we trade on WTO rules.
He gives France a slice of the UK waters and we get a deal.

Win win situation?  A lot of the UK fishing industry will be toast and WTO rules will finish off a significant amount of UK business, which will either go broke or move abroad.
